Key SLFP Leaders, Organizers Pledge Support to the President

• Despite Efforts by Sajith and Anura to Spread Misinformation, the People of Sri Lanka Are Now Seeing the Truth.

A group of prominent and long-standing activists from the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) have come together to support President Ranil Wickremesinghe's campaign for this year's presidential election.

This group includes former Deputy Minister and Kalutara District MP Priyangani Abeyweera, the chief organizer for the Sri Lanka Freedom Party in the Kalutara Constituency; Praveen Dias Bandaranaike, the chief organizer in the Gampaha Constituency and grandson of S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike; Shantha Ratnayake, the chief organizer in Kolonna; Sagara Suren Ediriweera, the organizer in the Deniyaya Constituency; Vijayamuni Nipuna Zoysa, the organizer in the Pothuvil Constituency; Tilak Waragoda, the organizer in Kelaniya; Asita Wegodopola, the organizer in Laggala; and Chamila Silva, the organizer in the Gampaha District.

These leaders visited President Wickremesinghe's political office in Flower Road, Colombo, this morning (26), to pledge their full support for his victory. They emphasized that President Wickremesinghe had rescued the country's economy by uniting all parties during a time of economic collapse and stressed that this progress must not be reversed.

They also highlighted that, despite efforts by Sajith Premadasa and Anura Kumara Dissanayake to mislead the public, the people of Sri Lanka are beginning to recognize the truth.
