President Visits Badhriyyah Jum’ah mosque Kattankudy

While participating in the ‘Puluwan Sri Lanka’ victorious public rallies in Kalkudah and Ottamavadi, President Ranil Wickremesinghe visited the Badhriyyah Jum’ah Mosque in Kattankudy-05 this morning (08) to receive blessings.

During the visit, the President engaged in a cordial conversation with Alhaj Abdul Jawad Aleem Waliullah, Chairman of the Trustees, Abdur Rauf Misbahi, and other attendees. The President was accompanied by Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva, North Western Province Governor Nasir Ahmed, Members of Parliament A.L.M. Athaullah and Ali Zahir Moulana, as well as former Deputy Mayor M.M. Jaseem.

The Badhriyyah Jum’ah Mosque in Kattankudy oversees two Jumma mosques, four other mosques across the island, seven Quran schools, two Arabic colleges, and over 30 social service organizations.

During his journey to the mosque, President Wickremesinghe also took the opportunity to meet with business owners and residents of Kattankudy, discussing their issues and gathering their feedback.
